Seventh Cavalry, Crazy Horse, Running some Buffs, and Geronimo

Moving some drawers about today and stopped to take some photos...

Scouts.

Scouts.

Custer, Reno, Benteen, and staff.

Companies in column of twos.

Crazy Horse (center) and friends. Don't nobody know what he looked like really so artist's rendering.

Crazy Horse and friends. There's about a hundred and twenty or so more, but these are the few I painted myself.

In all cases there are also foot figures to match the mounted version.

Running some Buffalo.

Pretty small herd. Pretty boring to paint :(

Would love to have masses but how often would they really get used?

Geronimo (center) and friends. What they lack in numbers they make up for in sheer orneryness.
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Great painting. You know, herds are so one-time use :-(

    1. Thanks and agreed. I do have 90 head of cattle but they are all plastic from ERTL, so no time was lost painting them :)

  3. Slap some barbarians on the back of those bison! Pretty cool looking stuff. :)

  4. :) thanks. I love the shaggy beasts. Have only gotten close enough to pet one once though. Always a joy to see a herd. Would have chosen them for my totem animal but Wolf chose me instead.
